Concept for a men’s outfitter in Berlin. The shop’s window display was turned into an independent space to accommodate the shop’s regular “takeovers” by different brands. Wall and ceiling structure is reminiscent of a coffered ceiling and is optically distorted in perspective. The trapezoid space of the shop window opens towards the street, its obvious handling of perspective distortion addresses questions of realness/authenticity as well as representation/visibility. Material focus lay on natural and local resources such as walnut and travertine.
